The Nigeria Rugby League Association (NRLA) is a sporting organisation that champions the game of Rugby in Nigeria. It organises and facilitates different Rugby related programs targeted at different age grades of the society. The NRLA frequently encourages and interacts with children thus the need for this code of conduct. Every NRLA personnel (NRLA Representative) who interacts with children directly or indirectly will be educated on the contents of this code of conduct and shall sign and deliver this code of Conduct to the General Secretary before such individual interacts with children.
NRLA Representatives shall
2.1.2 treat children with respect regardless of race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national, ethnic or social origin, property, disability, birth or other status;
2.2 When photographing or filming a child for work related purposes, I must:
3.0 I understand that the onus is on me, as a person associated with or engaged by NRLA to use common sense, avoid actions or behaviours that could be construed as child exploitation and abuse. Also, I must immediately report any suspected cases of child abuse immediately to the General Secretary and Vice Chairman of the NRLA.
I, _________________, acknowledge that I have read and understand the NRLA’s Child Protection Policy, and agrees that in the course of my association with NRLA or any of its affiliates or anyone connected directly or indirectly to the NRLA, I shall not in any way violate the provisions of this code of conduct.
